Can you exclude meat?

It is not necessary for a person to eat animal origin products such as meat, fish, bird, eggs and dairy products.

True vegetarians which plan their food, can easily dispense from such products. Indeed they are much healthier than those people that eat meat. It is very hard to stop eating animal origin products when you are used to eat for a lot of years.

So if it is impossible to stop eating animal origin products than we should try to prepare them wisely, and obtain all the needed vitamins and other substances that we need, reduce the level of cholesterol and saturated fats.

You have to remember that liver, kidney, brain and hearts contains a lot of cholesterol. Thats why you shouldn’t eat them more than once a month. You shouldn’t eat more that 300mg of cholesterol per day. For example 100gr of brain contains 2400 mg of cholesterol. So don’t eat them too often.

Salami and sausages are also very caloric, they contain a lot of fat and cholesterol. You can eat them sometimes, but not everyday. Instead of making a sandwich with sausages and other ingredients, you better take something not so heavy, like turkey or chicken.

Bacon and ham are really healthy, it is good to eat them in the morning.

Beef, pork: you shouldn’t eat the meat which has huge pieces of fat. But even if you don’t see the fat, the meat is still fat. You can do the following things to exclude fat.

Eat the meat not more often than 2,3 times per week. There is a lot of food which can be eaten instead of meat.

Eat less. You don’t need that much food for your body. You need not more than 85gr of non fat meat.

When you choose meat, try to take with no fat.
